Warranty
Manufacturing Warranty
Every piece is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the delivery date.
- If a manufacturing defect appears within 12 months — a faulty clasp, a failed solder joint, a stone that falls out of an intact setting under normal wear — we will repair the piece free of charge.
- If a repair is not possible, we will replace it with the same item or, if unavailable, one of equal value.
- Shipping for approved warranty repairs is on us, both ways, fully insured.
- After 12 months, Lifetime Care services continue, and any other repairs are quoted before work begins.
Exclusions
What’s Not Covered
Lifetime Care keeps your jewelry in good shape; it is not insurance. The following are not included, though we are always happy to quote a repair:
- Loss, theft or disappearance of a piece or of stones lost through impact or damage.
- Damage from accidents, misuse or excessive force — for example crushed hollow links, chains snapped by pulling, or chipped stones.
- Normal wear over time, such as thinning shanks, or plating worn on gold-plated and vermeil pieces.
- Pieces that have been repaired, resized or altered by another jeweler.
- Replacement stones (labor to tighten existing stones is covered).
- Ring resizing beyond the complimentary first resize, and engraving changes.
Rings
Ring Resizing
Your first ring resize within 60 days of delivery is complimentary, up or down by as much as two sizes. Eternity bands and some fully set styles cannot be resized — check our Size Guide before ordering.
How It Works
How to Request Service
-
Tell us what you need
Submit a request through our service & return form or contact us with your order number, the piece and what you would like done. Photos help.
-
Send or bring it in
We will email an insured prepaid shipping label and packing instructions, or you can book a showroom visit and drop it off in person.
-
Inspection
Our bench jewelers inspect the piece and confirm what is covered. Anything outside Lifetime Care or the warranty is quoted first — no work starts without your approval.
-
Back to you
Most services are completed in 7–14 business days after we receive the piece. It returns fully insured, with tracking.
The Fine Print
Terms
- Lifetime Care applies to jewelry purchased directly from us, with proof of purchase (your order number is enough).
- Complimentary shipping for Lifetime Care requests is provided once every 12 months per piece; additional requests in that period can be dropped off in person or shipped at your cost.
- Service turnaround times are estimates and may be longer during holiday periods or for custom pieces.
- These terms work alongside our Returns & Exchanges policy and Terms & Conditions. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to register my jewelry?
No. Your order is your registration. Just have your order number ready when you request service.
Is Lifetime Care transferable if I give the piece as a gift?
Yes — gift recipients are covered too. Use the original order number, or ask the purchaser to forward their order confirmation.
A stone fell out. Is that covered?
If the setting failed from a manufacturing defect within 12 months, the repair and replacement stone are covered under warranty. After that, or if the piece was damaged, we will tighten the remaining stones free and quote the replacement stone.
How often should I bring my jewelry in?
Every 6–12 months for pieces you wear every day, and before and after big events or travel. See our care guide for at-home care in between.
